Kenya might be considered the capital of Africa

Reason why kenya might be considered the capital of Africa, if Africa is splitted.

  1. Kenya position herself in a most advantageous strategic position(lies on the equator). Therefore serves as a near center/radii of Africa.
  2. Kenya isn’t a landlocked country. This puts Kenya as top contender as compare to other competitors within the center of Africa e.g Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Chad etc.
  3. Kenya has some of the most advanced health facilities in Africa. Many wealthier people from neighbouring countries such as Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Uganda, Tanzania, south sudan, congo and Somalia seek health services in Nairobi.
  4. Kenya is an enterprising country. Its residents are at the centre of trading and commerce with foreigners playing catch up. Most financial institutions, including the biggest banks, are 100% local.
  5. The Nairobi stock exchange is one of the most vibrant on the continent.
  6. Kenya is the gateway to the rest of Africa via its highly developed Airport, the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Visitors to the East and Central Africa region often get their through Nairobi.
  7. Telecommunications is highly developed. The country’s biggest Telecom company(M-pesa) is one of the most profitable on the continent.
  8. The hospitality industry is highly developed with many international hotels. E.g Weston, Hilton etc.

I could say more but I hope I have convinced you as to why Kenya might be considered as the capital of United Africa.
