“My father is a chicken farmer, my mother has a green thumb she is great with flowers, she does amazing kitchen gardens,” she said.

The founder of SMACHS Foundation said her business made her realize that there is a vast opportunity for young people.
SMACHS is Smart Mechanized Agriculture and Climate Action for Humanity Sustainability.
“That is what made me find and patronize SMACHS,” she said.
She also asked the delegates to visit Kenya for an experience to see Kenya’s rich tourism sector including the swimming lions of Kenya.
“Allow me to welcome you to Kenya as we have beautiful beaches and the only country with a park within a national city as well as swimming lions,” Charlene added.
Ruto runs a farming enterprise he runs in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu county.
In 2023, Ruto revealed that First Lady Mama Rachel had brought 5,000 chickens from India.
The President sells improved chicken as he has an industrial-grade incubator that can hatch thousands of chicks monthly.
Ruto’s Yegen Farm which is a poultry commercial has sealed partnerships with key international players in poultry allowing it to deploy cutting-edge technology and standards across its operations.
Yegen Farms operates one of Kenya’s largest commercial hatcheries.
It also has a partnership with IndBro, one of India’s top poultry research and breeding firms, which exports breeding stocks worldwide.
