Pastor and motivational speaker Robert Burale has sued his ex-wife Rozina Mwakideu and her brother, media personality Alex Mwakideu, for defamation. He is seeking Ksh.20 million in damages over a YouTube interview titled “My Biggest Mistake Was Marrying Robert Burale”, which aired on October 4, 2025, on Alex’s channel.

In court documents filed at the Milimani Chief Magistrates’ Court, Burale claims the interview falsely portrayed him as manipulative, hypocritical, a swindler, and homosexual. He says the remarks were malicious and damaged his reputation as a respected pastor and mentor.

Burale also accuses Alex of professional negligence for not verifying the claims or giving him a chance to respond before publishing the interview.
